The journal is indexed with Index Medicus , Index Medicus for WHO South - East - Asia Region ( IMSER ) , National Library of Medicine ( NLM ) , PubMed / MEDLINE , Institute of Scientific Information , NCI Current Contents , Indian Science Abstracts and Excerpta Medica .

The journal ' s full text is online at . With the aim of faster and better dissemination of knowledge , we will be publishing articles ' Ahead of Print ' . In addition , the journal would allow free access ( open access ) to its contents , which is likely to attract more readers and citations to articles published in IJPM .
